Ingredients for making Cream Cracker with Guava:

2½ cups of wheat flour (350 grams)

1 cup of cream (or 1 can of whey-free cream)

 2 tablespoons of refined sugar

1 tablespoon of softened unsalted butter

 1 tablespoon of baking powder

 300 grams of guava

How to make Cream Cracker with Guava:

The first step of this stuffed cream biscuit recipe is to mix the cream, sugar, butter and yeast in a bowl. Then add the flour little by little and knead until the dough comes off completely (you may need to add a little more flour until you get the point).

Tip: Mix with your hands, this will make it easier and faster to get a homogeneous mixture!

Then you shape the dough of the cream biscuits. There are different ways to do this, we advise you to shape little balls, place them on a greased and floured oven tray and sink a little guava cube in the center, as in the picture.

Tip: Sprinkle refined sugar, to make your cookies look prettier.

Bake in a preheated oven at 200ºC for 10 minutes, or until it starts to brown on the sides. Remove, allow to cool, and serve the cream and guava biscuit along with tea or freshly brewed coffee.
